Patients are reminded to use the services of Department of Health & Medicine (Dohms) licensed clinics and medical professionals ONLY.  If in doubt, ask to see proof of your professional's Dohms licence, which is renewed every year.  Dohms is the government regulatory body for all medical hospitals, clinic and professionals in Dubai, and it is illegal for unlicensed professionals to provide any kind of medical grade treatment to patients.  Practitioners who provide services without the appropriate training and Dohms approval are operating illegally and patients cannot be assured of the quality or validity of treatment. If in doubt, contact Dohms at www.dohms.gov.ae to check your clinic/podiatrist/chiropodist's accreditation.  Dubai Podiatry Centre is licensed by Dohms, license number 9660. Both the clinic/hospital and the individual practitioner must be licensed. If you believe that you have been treated by an unlicensed professional, you can contact Dohms on 04 2197100 or email Licensing@dohms.gov.ae, who will investigate and take appropriate action.
