Dove moisturizing soap for Diabetes

Importance of daily washing with moisturizing Dove Soap

One of the side effects of having Diabetes includes developing dry skin. If your blood glucose is high, your body can lose fluid. Less fluid = less moisture so the skin can dry out.  When you have raised glucose with Diabetes, your sweat can be 'sweet' and increase fungal infections.

Washing is important to remove the concentrated sweat from our skin. Dove body shower cream is ideal for using when washing. It removes the excess sweat as well as replenishes the moisture to your skin that was lost during your shower.

After you have washed, make sure you rinse and dry yourself carefully – checking places where water can hide.

Ideally, moisturise with a non greasy lotion like Nivea body lotion and remember to moisturize your feet.
